The Julbo Looping 1 UV sunglasses are designed for infants ages 0-12 mo who love their time outside! The Looping 1 is baby-friendly, from the symmetrical shape that eliminates a right-side-up or wrong-side-up to the hingeless design to prevent pinched fingers and pulled hair. The frame is soft, so it won't scratch a baby's sensitive skin. Looping 1 sunglasses have Spectron 4 shock-resistant lenses, which provide 100% UV protection from UVA, UVB and UVC rays and 95% of visible light. The lenses are dark with a mirror effect on the lens, allowing only 5% of the light thru and are specially-made with Anti-Glare and Flash treatments to reduce eye strain, eliminate interference glare and improve filtration.

The younger the child is, the more vulnerable their eyes are. Unlike an adult's eye, the lens in a child's eye has almost no protective pigments. A child's crystalline lens is totally transparent with a very large pupil. Children's eyes therefore absorb much more harmful solar radiation than adults.

Even in the shade, the eyes are exposed to UV rays reflected by the clouds, water, snow, sand and asphalt. Sunglasses are important for eye protection for babies, just as they are for moms and dads!
